These Terms of Service describe the relationship between you and your wedding officiant for professional ceremony services. By booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
I provide consultation, ceremony planning, creation and refinement of the ceremony script, and officiating services at the agreed date, time, and location. Any services beyond this scope—such as extended rehearsals, legal filings, or special coordination with vendors—must be agreed to in advance.
Each ceremony is crafted to reflect your beliefs, preferences, and story. Reasonable revisions to the script are included prior to the event; extensive rewrites or added elements may incur additional fees, which will be discussed and approved before work proceeds.
To reserve your date, a non-refundable retainer is required. Your date is confirmed only after the retainer is received and written confirmation is provided. The remaining balance is due by the date specified on your invoice.
Payment methods and due dates are detailed on your confirmation or invoice. Late payments may incur additional charges and, if not resolved, could result in cancellation of services.
Travel, parking, permits, or additional time on site may incur extra fees for events outside the standard service area. Any such charges will be communicated in advance and agreed upon prior to the event whenever reasonably possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me as soon as possible. The retainer remains non-refundable, but I will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date subject to availability and any applicable rescheduling fees.
Punctuality is important to ensure the ceremony proceeds as planned. Significant delays or no-shows by key participants may affect my ability to perform as scheduled, may incur additional waiting fees, and in some cases could require limiting or withdrawing services due to venue or legal constraints.
You are responsible for obtaining and presenting a valid marriage license in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the ceremony takes place. I will sign and, where applicable, return the license, but I am not responsible for government processing or recording delays.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim arising out of these services is limited to the amount paid for those services. I am not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, including costs arising from venue, vendor, or guest issues.
If a force majeure event—such as severe weather, accident, illness, or government restriction—prevents me from performing, I will make reasonable efforts to arrange a qualified replacement or an alternative solution when feasible. I am not responsible for circumstances beyond my reasonable control.
Photography and media: you acknowledge that photos or video of the ceremony may include me. With your permission, non-identifying images of me at your event may be used for professional portfolios or marketing, unless you request otherwise in writing in advance.
If you have any questions about these Terms of Service or need clarification, please contact me using the phone, text, or email details provided on this website. Clear communication helps ensure a smooth and meaningful ceremony experience.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
